Waiver Trend — Snap / Route / Target / Carry
Leaderboard with trend arrows. We rank by 4-game OLS slope, not weekly raw values.
Snap and route share trending up are leading indicators of fantasy production. Most fantasy sites publish weekly "waiver wire pickups" articles ranked by last week's box score. We rank by 4-game slope, so the player you see at the top gained opportunity over the last month — that's the signal that converts to fantasy points NEXT, not the raw output that already happened. Players outside the top-150 by season fantasy_pts_ppr (low-ownership proxy — public ownership feeds aren't in our DB) trending STRONG_UP on the leading opportunity metric for their position are flagged as WAIVER GEMS.
Caveat: needs at least 4 weeks of data for a slope. snap_count NULL games are excluded — never imputed. 2026 starts in September; demo runs on 2024 + 2025 until then.
