Roster-level distribution: stack 10–15 players, see your team P10/P50/P90 and which players drive the variance.
Distributions, not point estimates. We compute each player's mean and variance from their empirical weekly fantasy points, then aggregate to a team-level distribution assuming player-week independence: team_mean = Σ player_means, team_variance = Σ player_variances. Team P10 / P50 / P90 use the normal approximation (team_mean ± 1.28·σ).
High-CV players (Boom/Bust) are your ceiling; low-CV players are your floor. A floor-heavy roster wastes best-ball top-week aggregation; a ceiling-heavy roster is a tournament dream and a season-long must-win nightmare. Independence is a simplification — same-team stacks (QB + WR) inflate variance vs. reality.
